HOW TO GET POINTS
Collect valuable points as a Velocity member:
In Australia or New Zealand
- Red Member: 3 Velocity Points per AUD $1 or NZD $1 of eligible spend (excluding GST)
- Silver Member: 4.5 Velocity Points per AUD $1 or NZD $1 of eligible spend (excluding GST)
- Gold Member: 5.25 Velocity Points per AUD $1 or NZD $1 of eligible spend (excluding GST)
- Platinum Member: 6 Velocity Points per AUD $1 or NZD $1 of eligible spend (excluding GST)
Outside Australia or New Zealand
- Red Member: 800 Velocity Points per eligible rental booking
- Silver Member: 1.200 Velocity Points per eligible rental booking
- Gold Member: 1.400 Velocity Points per eligible rental booking
- Platinum Member: 1.600 Velocity Points per eligible rental booking
Simply enter your membership number when booking your car and present your bonus card at the rental location to receive your points.

Velocity Standard T&Cs
In Australia the Points earn rate is based on the base rental cost of the vehicle. Silver, Gold and Platinum members earn tier bonus Points on top of the base Points earned depending on their membership status. For reservations within Australia and New Zealand, as a Red member you will earn 3 Points per $1 spent; as a Silver member you will earn a total of 4.5 Points per $1 spent; as a Gold member you will earn a total of 5.25 Points per $1 spent; and as a Platinum member you will earn a total of 6 Points per $1 spent.
Members will not earn Points for rentals on prepaid bookings ("Pay now" or "Best Price" option) - except for rentals in Australia, USA and Canada., Van & Truck rentals, wholesale rates, staff and industry rates, rentals with a value below € 25 or equivalent in local currency, restricted rate plans that SIXT has entered into with third parties (SIXT Products only) (except for any third party which has been nominated by Velocity or Virgin Australia to provide car rental services for Velocity or Virgin Australia operated channels or websites), long-term rates (ie. rentals longer than 28 consecutive days), some corporate rates defined by each company and their individual corporate contracts, damage liability cover, optional insurance, vehicle registration fee, premium location fee, admin fee, taxes, GST, one-way fees, age surcharges, additional driver fees and equipment such ski racks, baby/booster seats or GPS rental costs. Please note that not all car types will be available. Velocity Membership and points earned is subject to the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time. A combination of different promotional programs is not possible. Points credits are awarded per rental and can be claimed retroactively up to 6 months after vehicle return if the promotion was valid at the time of booking and during the rental period. Points credit is only possible if the rental contract was concluded in the name of the holder of the respective mileage card. The general terms and conditions of Sixt apply. All car rentals are governed by SIXT’s standard Terms and Conditions.
