SIXT's location at Inverness Airport

A free SIXT shuttle will drive you the 2 minutes from INV to the collection point in the short stay car park. Our SIXT staff will even meet you at Arrivals to help you to the shuttle with your luggage. Alternatively, you can walk the to the collection point, following the directions on the clearly marked route. The car hire return point is different, and you will need to take your car to the Dalcross Industrial Estate, immediately adjacent to the airport and look for the orange SIXT sign. From there, the shuttle bus will take you straight to Departures.

I had read a lot of negative reviews online on reddit before going for my trip, so I think I should write out my positive experience as well, especially related to the young driver thing. I had asked on reddit and most had said that it will be very difficult to hire with all of us being 21-22 year olds, but we had a very smooth experience (of course, we did pay the young hire fee). Our car was ready and perfect as soon as we reached the car hire station. We had rented for a total of 48 hours, and the car had no issues. When we returned the car, we had forgotten to refuel it so we asked for another 20 minutes and they assured us they would not charge for it, but later when the invoice arrived on my email, it had charged us for an additional day. We immediately called them, and mailed as well about the miscommunication. Within one day, they had processed the refund and the money was back in my account. The guy on the Sixt car hire desk also managed to get us a 40 GBP discount with the full insurance intact relative to the booking price we had been shown online. So overall, I would highly recommend Sixt car hire in Scotland (I don't know about other places).

Got a great car for the price -brand new BMW X2 (X-Drive) Tourer. Great for travelling across the Highlands and across the Applecross Pass and NC500. Staff were very fiendly at Sixt Inverness.
