I decided to give Sixt at GVA another try as their EV selection is excellent. Normally we rent at Hertz where I have President Circle status. We were greeted by Carole at the counter who checked us in quickly and was super enthusiastic about what we rented. Guaranteed model was a BMW iX and we were provided with one. She also explained the range is affected by temperature and speed. We own an EV at home and have rented many EVs before and this was actually really nice of them to mention (even if we already knew). The vehicle itself was new, clean and fully charged for our trip. The lot attendant showed us where the charging cables were as well (Hertz never does this) The best part is there is no need to charge on return as it should be I really really enjoyed the EV rental experience at Sixt and its nice they took the time to train employees about them. Rental return was easy and quick. We were asked how we liked the car and did we have any issues. The lot attendant was extremely friendly as well. Thanks for making our road trip such a pleasure
