Driving in Saint Lucia is no joke! I've never been so glad I bought the insurance. We drove a Toyota Yaris Cross hybrid for a week in and around Castries. On our way back to the airport for our departing flight, a tire blew. We called the number for the mechanic (provided at arrival) and their team responded very quickly. Garvin and Ian were life-savers! Ian arrived at the roadside, quickly assessed the situation (tire not repairable, needed to get to the airport quickly, travelling with a wheelchair) and called the office to request a new vehicle. A fresh car was brought to us, we transferred our belongings to the new car and were on our way in under an hour. Thanks to the tire and glass plan, no charge. My only suggestion: check the car for a spare before driving away. Many thanks to the Sixt team for excellent service!

After an exceedingly unpleasant and stressful 2 hour standing wait at Castries ferry port immigration and customs, what a relief to find Gavin who had been patiently waiting all this time with our car. Excellent service with a smile, the highpoint in an otherwise long and depressing trip from Martinique.
