Katowice Pyrzowice Airport (KTW), also known as Katowice International Airport, is an international airport, located in Pyrzowice, 30 km north of the centre of Katowice, Poland. In 1940, the German Luftwaffe started the construction of a field airport in the meadows around Pyrzowice.
