Your way to SIXT

When exiting the arrival hall, the SIXT branch is located across the street on the right side. There will be signs guiding you to the car rental.



By car

Follow the signs to Trondheim Værnes Airport. When you take the roundabout towards the airport, drive straight ahead into the parkinghouse. Then drive straight ahead until you have to turn left and then drive to the end of the parkinghouse, the rental car office on the outside to the right.



By train

The train takes about 35 minutes from the Trondheim city centre to the Airport. At arrival at the Airport please take the escalator up from the train platform and go the right. Walk about 100 meters and you will see the rental-car building on your right-hand side.



SIXT Parking

When you leave the rental car building, turn right into the parkinghouse. Go straight ahead for approx. 60 meters and take the elevator down to the 1. floor. The SIXT parking is located on the right-hand side.



Vehicle Return

When you exit the roundabout towards the airport, follow the rental-car signs that will take you to a parking area. The car can be parked at any of the spots marked with a SIXT sign. You then take the elevator up to the groundfloor of the parking house and walk about 150 meters towards the airport. Then you will find the rental car building outside the north-west corner of the parking house. The keys can be delivered at our counter inside the building, or in the key-drop just outside the entrance.

Tourist Attractions in Stjordal

Stjordal is an important place in the area known as Stjordalen. The area is probably most famous because of the wonderful Steinvikholm Castle on Skatval peninsula. This castle is particularly important as the location of some important Norwegian political events in the sixteenth century. Another popular site that is visited by many tourists is the Hegra Fortress (built in the early part of the twentieth century).
