I always book with Sixt when I visit Amsterdam. Usually the queues are not too long and the prices are very reasonable for some very good cars. Last time out I was helped by Vlada and she quickly took care of my booking with a cheerful demeanour. It always helps when the front desk staff are friendly and positive.
Unfortunately one issue was upon pickup in the garage: the car (BMW iX) wasn't ready even though we had arrived at the confirmed time. We ended up waiting almost 45 minutes before the car finally arrived, not good! This is the reason for my 4/5 as I usually enjoy my bookings here, but the long wait really was not acceptable.
