Your way to SIXT

Afer collecting any baggage, exit the arrivals area and head towards Schiphol Plaza, following "Car rental" signs. Once you arrive at Schiphol Plaza, walk toward "Car rental", and you'll find our SIXT branch on the right-hand side.

By car

If you are bringing someone to the branch, use the Kiss and Ride, which you can find if you navigate to "Ceintuurbaan Zuid". If you plan to leave your personal vehicle, you can park in the P1 lot. Once you enter the airport, you will see "Car rental" signs, which you can follow to our SIXT branch. Please note that personal vehicles are not permitted to be parked on our premises. Thank you for your understanding.

With public transportation

There are also several trains which go from the Amsterdam main train station to the airport. Once you arrive, proceed up to Schiphol plaza. Walk toward "Car rental", and you'll find our SIXT branch on the right-hand side.

Return information

Navigate to our SIXT return area at Herbergierstraat, 1118 CZ Schiphol. Once you arrive at the airport, follow the "Car rental return" signs. Once you enter the garage, follow the SIXT signs, going straight and turning left twice. When you see SIXT, please follow the "Car rental return" signs, driving carefully through our damage gates. Once through, drive as far as possible into our check-in lane, parking close to the previous customer's car. A SIXT agent will be there to collect your key and assist with your return. If you are dropping your vehicle off when our branch is closed, please leave the key in our SIXT key drop box, located to the left at the front of our SIXT booth.

I've rented many cars from Sixt in the Netherlands from multiple branches. I've always had a great experience and often received an upgraded car. Check-in is usually quick and precise as is returning the car. This experience was no different, and Sven at the counter was really friendly - he was not mistaken about the BMW i7 too - Absolutely amazing car. Great price. Fantastic service.
