What to do in Corfu
- Corfu Town: Your first stop in Corfu should be the vibrant capital, Corfu Town. - Pelekas: Only 8 miles from Corfu Town, Pelekas is a fishing village in the east of the island. Located close to the golden shores of Glyfada and Kontogialos beaches, Pelekas was built at the top of a hill surrounded by olive groves. The village is known for the Kaiser’s Throne observation point, where you can admire panoramic views of the island, which are particularly breath-taking at sunset.

Good to know when renting in Corfu
In Greece the minimum age for car hire is 21 years old; you must hold a valid licence for at least a year, and the selection of cars will be limited.
If you choose to ‘pay later’ during the booking phase than cancellation is free any time up to the day of booking, as we understand journeys can change.
If you are planning on leaving the car at a different SIXT branch simply select a separate location during booking to see if this is available.
