Important branch information
Dear customer, please allow approximately 15 minutes extra due to construction work at the station. The SIXT vehicles are located in the parking garage at the station (Level 3). The SIXT branch is located in the basement, in the station passage.
Via motorway A8
A8 motorway, Ulm-West exit, follow the B10 for 6.5 km towards Ulm city centre. Take the exit towards city centre and at the next roundabout take the third exit towards Karlstrasse. After 700 m turn right into Neutorstraße. Follow this street for 350 m, then turn right into Olgastraße. Drive to Bahnhofplatz in about 270 m. Our SIXT branch is located in the train station arcade, Bahnhofplatz 8.
With public transportation
The SIXT branch in Ulm is located directly in the underpass at Bahnhofplatz in the middle of the train station arcade. Leave the public transport at the main station stop and use the stairs or the elevator into the underpass.
From the SIXT branch to your rental car
From the station, go to the parking garage opposite the train station. Then take the stairs or elevator to Level 3. Once you reach Level 3, the parking spaces are on the right.
Return information
Coming from the north: Take the A8 exit at Ulm West towards Ulm on the B10. After entering the town, continue towards Kempten/Neu-Ulm on the B10. At the Esso petrol station, turn right towards Donaueschingen/city centre onto the B311. Continue along the main road and exit at the Ehinger Tor towards the city centre. Continue along Zinglerstraße towards Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. Turn left past the Xinedome cinema and then turn right into the station car park. Our parking spaces are on the 3rd floor.
Coming from the south: approach Ulm on the B28 towards Ulm. Exit the B28 at Bismarckring over the Adenauerbrücke and keep right towards Donaueschingen/B311. Then, before the Ehinger Tor, turn right towards the city centre onto Zinglerstraße. Continue towards Friedrich-Ebert-Straße. After the Xinedome, the exit to the car park at the train station is immediately on the left. Please use the entrance on the right to access Level 3. Please park your SIXT vehicle in or near the marked SIXT parking spaces.

The Sixt office is right in the Bahnhof. However, their hours are limited and sometimes they're not open as long as they post. The parking garage is a bit of a walk from the Sixt office. Cross the street, walk through an outdoor shopping mall and into the garage. There's a garage much closer - right at the Bahnhof, but Sixt uses the 7th floor of another garage. Returning the car was tricky because the GPS kept taking us to the closer garage and we just couldn't find the entrance to the Sixt garage, so we actually had to leave the car in the garage that we could get into then walk the keys to the Sixt garage and send them an email explaining. I was so worried! But the Sixt agents were very kind and understanding. All turned out fine. The car was comfortable and seemed brand new. We drove it to Niederstotzingen (about a 20min drive) and back. There was no USB charger for phones- they had a smaller, oval-shaped charger and a charging pad though. I would definitely use Sixt at Ulm Bahnhof again and am so grateful for the Sixt employees who helped and were understanding about the parking situation.
