What to see in the city with a car rental
This beautiful city is located in the northern part of Germany, and is famous for its old town area. Built after the Thirty Years War, this part of the city is notable for its red brick building and imposing churches built in Gothic style. The Old Square is a treat for the eyes, with its fancy arches and covered spaces, and the ancient Town Hall building located in the square is a popular tourist destination. Another landmark is the harbour, famous for its busy waterfront featuring restaurants and cafes. And if you are looking for quiet relaxation, you can visit the Hansedom, famous for its thermal pool. The town of Wismar, Germany, is not too far and if you have car rental you can easily visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of many in Germany, notable for its port, beaches, and churches. There is also a zoo where children can enjoy thrilling rides on a tram and interact with some of the animals. Another sightseeing destination is the Jasmund, one of the lovely protected areas in Germany, which is famous for its chalk hills.
