Been working in Kauai for a couple months doing AC/Refrigeration and coming to Sixt for our transportation purposes. Car rentals might be conspicuous and overlooked but you have to think, the car literally takes care of you your whole trip, from start to finish. Therefore, here at Sixt, we see our now good friend Aimee that helps us find exactly what we need for our efforts to have the best trip we can possibly have and she takes care of us like family. It is always great vibes, great service, and a great experience, which we are very thankful for. I've never been to a better car rental place. Car was clean and nice and worked fine, but it had clearly been a rental for a while. Desk staff was super nice. Shuttle driver was very friendly and told us about a few places on the island.

Take the dedicated shuttle from the airport. It was well staffed for the influx of people. The car was clean and in great condition. Have your own insurance lined up.
